British Airways to increase London City services to Germany

British Airways is providing more than 34,000 extra seats to Germany from London City Airport this winter with bigger aircraft and additional flights. Services to Hamburg and Dusseldorf will operate on the 76-seat Embraer 170 jet aircraft, replacing the current Saab 2000 turboprop. In addition the schedule to Dusseldorf will increase from three to four flights a day.

Boeing opens new composite centre in St. Louis

Boeing has formally opened a new composite centre on its St. Louis campus that will house the company's largest commercial aviation work statement ever placed at the site. The centre is a visible representation of the company's efforts to diversify and grow its St. Louis-area operations. The 424,000-square-foot facility will initially build composite parts for the company's newest commercial jetliner, the 777X.

Etihad Airways to go double daily on Dublin route

Etihad Airways today announced the introduction of an additional daily year-round service between Abu Dhabi and Dublin which increases frequency on the route to 14 flights a week, effective April 1st, 2017.
